I will dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.

Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
